This role involves full spectrum family medicine in a busy practice with instant volume. The practice includes surgical obstetrics, emergency room, and hospitalist work, with on-site specialists and extensive diagnostic and therapy services available.
Key Responsibilities
- • Full spectrum family medicine- including surgical obstetrics, ER, and hospitalist
Required
- • BC/BE Must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible
- • EOE/drug screen required
- • Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required
- • Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program
- • board certified or board eligible
- • Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges
- • Above average communication skills
- • Ability to work with a team
- • Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license
- • Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
- • All offers are contingent upon the successful completion of references, background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen

- Join 8 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
- Full spectrum family medicine- including surgical obstetrics, ER, and hospitalist
- Call for OB/hospitalist- 1:9; call for C-sections 1:3
- Specialists available- including Cardiology, Urology, GI, ENT, Ortho, etc.
- Lab, x-ray, sleep, MRI, CT, mammography, nuclear med, PT, RT, OT, and ER all on site
- 25-bed critical access hospital and primary care clinic
- Affiliate of MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a Level III Trauma Center and regional referral teaching center
