Position Highlights

• Responsible for general gynecological care of women, but also provide care related to pregnancy and the reproductive system.
• OB/GYNs are concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of general health problems, but they focus on ailments specific to the female anatomy, such as breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal disorders.
• Specialize in childbirth, treating and counseling women throughout their pregnancy, from giving prenatal diagnoses, to delivery, and postpartum care.
• The role of the gynecological provider at Kelsey Seybold spans the adult lifetime of woman's care, meeting both her medical and surgical needs.
• Kelsey-Seybold OB/GYNs are women's health specialists, practicing at their highest ethical standards. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, a part of Optum, is Houston's premier multispecialty group practice, founded in 1949 by Dr. Mavis Kelsey in Houston's renowned Texas Medical Center. Kelsey-Seybold offers quality medical care in 65 medical specialties. The organization operates the largest freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Center in Texas. It offers state-of-the-art Varian TrueBeam and Varian Edge radiation therapy technology at a nationally accredited Cancer Center. Its comprehensive offerings include an accredited Sleep Center, comprehensive laboratory services, advanced imaging and diagnostics, and on-site Kelsey Pharmacy locations. Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved training program from an accredited medical school, residency or fellowship program upon hire
• Licensed in the State of Texas
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Must have completed residency and practicing or be in residency when applying
  
  

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $291,500 - $501,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
