Join the Hospital Medicine team at M Health Fairview St. John's Hospital as a full-time physician. The role involves working with a collegial hospitalist group, providing inpatient care with a flexible schedule, an average 13-15 patient census, and support from nocturnist, rapid response, and code response teams.
Key Responsibilities
- • Work with a collegial group of over 30 hospitalists and 4 Advanced Practice Providers
- • Provide care with an average 13-15 patient census
- • Participate in a flexible work schedule
- • Work 7 on/off or modified block schedule
- • Work with a fully supported nocturnist program with overnight coverage
- • Participate in resident physician led rapid response team and code response
- • Work shift hours: AM Rounder 7 am - 6 pm
- • Work shift hours: AM Swing Shift 7 am - 6 pm
- • Work shift hours: PM Swing Shift 11 am - 10 pm
- • Work shift hours: PM Swing Shift 2 pm - midnight
Required
- • Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency training program
- • BC/BE with the ABMS
- • Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
- • Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
- • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges

Fairview is seeking a full time BC/BE Internal Medicine (preferred) or experienced Family Medicine Physician to join the Hospital Medicine team at M Health Fairview St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, Minnesota.
M Health Fairview St. John’s Hospital, is part of Fairview Health Services, opened in Maplewood in 1985. St. John’s Hospital provides a comprehensive range of medical care in the community, from the intensivist program (on-site critical care physician specialists) a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
