Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in the diverse communities served, with a focus on diagnosing, treating, and monitoring pediatric patients. The role also includes patient education, referrals, documentation, and participation in network activities within a supportive environment under dedicated medical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- • Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions
- • Prescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
- • Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
- • Monitoring patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary
- • Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
- • Immunizing patients against preventable diseases
- • Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results
- • Referring patients to other medical specialists, when necessary
- • Providing compassionate and empathetic support and advice to patients regarding their health concerns
- • Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary
- • Participating in network activities such as Provider meetings, Grand Rounds, and training sessions
- • Other related duties as assigned
Required
- • Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) required.
- • MD or DO from accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- • Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics required.
- • Current and unrestricted New York State license.
- • DEA required.
- • Work Schedule (Part-Time): Friday and Sunday
