New Jersey Telemedicine - Primary Care Provider
Provides adult-only primary care through a telemedicine-first approach focused on provider empanelment and continuity of care. Works within a 7-day-a-week operation supported by patient care advocates and a licensed medical team, with emphasis on evidence-based medicine and a high degree of technical skill.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide primary care through a telemedicine-first approach
- • Support empanelment and continuity of care for patients
- • Set recurring schedules within any combination of days, including evenings and weekends
- • Work with patient care advocates and a licensed medical team to ensure patients get the care and follow-up they need
- • Utilize software with a high degree of technical skill
- • Diagnose and treat a variety of adult/primary care conditions
- • See patients in-person once every 3 months
Required
- • Applicants must reside in the United States of America
- • Completed an accredited nursing or medical program with a national certification
- • Currently licensed in New Jersey with the ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
- • Valid New Jersey DEA Registration in good standing with all schedules to prescribe medications, including S2
- • Must be Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
- • Commitment to evidence-based medicine
- • Willingness to learn how to diagnose and treat a variety of adult/primary care conditions
- • Able to see patients in-person once every 3 months
Preferred
- • Ideal candidates will have experience as primary care providers in a clinical setting
- • At least 3 years post-residency practice experience is strongly preferred

We are an evidence-based practice that leverages our proprietary, HIPAA-compliant EHR that ensures a delightful and safe experience for patients and providers via two-way, video-audio appointments.

Pay is a fee-for-service model. Fully empaneled MD/DOs earn an average of $100/hr or $200/hr, respectively, with appointments lasting from 15 to 30 mins. MDs/DOs compensation is $50 per encounter, plus a robust incentive program. Fully empaneled APPs earn an average of $66/hr to $132/hr. APPs compensation is $33 per encounter.
We are a 7-day-a-week operation offering PCPs the freedom to set their own recurring schedules within any combination of days, including evenings and weekends.
PCPs are also supported by a strong team of patient care advocates and a licensed medical team who work with you to ensure our patients get the care and follow-up they need. We require a high degree of technical skill utilizing software and an open mind to fast-paced improvements driven by our product and engineering teams. We are in network with most PPO insurance plans and help our patients understand their coverage so that providers can focus on what is most important.
