How will you make an impact & Requirements

Primary Care Physician

Schedule: Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. We are open to negotiating a 4-day week for a candidate who brings the right expertise and clinical fit to our team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Internal Medicine/Family Practice Services to patients.

• Interview, examine, and treat clinical patients.

• Educate patients and families on wellness, prevention, and early detection.

• Provide referrals based on examination and patient needs.

• Participate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and patient care programs.

• Assist in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients.

• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations.

• Complete medical records (EMR) documentation daily.

• Cover night calls as needed.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree.

• Current unrestricted medical licensure in applicable state(s) and board certification. If board eligible, must become board certified within 12 months.

• DEA license required.

• For Carelon Health business unit, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.

**This position is bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.**
