This role focuses on diagnosing and managing liver, gallbladder, bile duct, and pancreatic disorders, including hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. It also involves performing and interpreting diagnostic procedures, developing treatment plans for acute and chronic liver conditions, and providing patient education and health maintenance support.
Key Responsibilities
- • Diagnose and manage liver, gallbladder, bile duct, and pancreatic disorders including hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer.
- • Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as liver biopsies, imaging studies, and lab tests.
- • Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic liver conditions, including pre- and post-liver transplant care.
- • Provide patient education, disease prevention guidance, and health maintenance support.
Required
- • Graduated from an accredited Medical School
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible Hepatologist
- • An active New York Medical License
