Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, emphasizing preventative care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Provide preventive care, including routine check-ups, immunizations, and health education.
  • Manage chronic diseases, ensuring patients understand their conditions and treatment options.
  • Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and follow up on the results of such consultations.
  • Educate patients and their families on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including patient privacy and confidentiality laws.
Required
  • Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.), or equivalent
  • Completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • License to practice medicine or eligibility for licensure in Ohio
