Urology Hospitalist Opportunity - AdventHealth Orlando
Provide dedicated inpatient urological care with a focus on hospital-based care and a consistent shift schedule. The role involves inpatient call coverage, managing urology consults, performing bedside procedures, daily rounding, and collaborating with clinic-based urologists for seamless patient care and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide inpatient call coverage at AdventHealth Orlando
- • Manage inpatient urology consults from hospital floors and emergency department
- • Perform bedside procedures, including cystoscopies, as well as other necessary urological procedures
- • Conduct daily rounding on urology patients
- • Collaborate with clinic-based urologists to ensure seamless patient care and follow-up
- • 15 shifts per month
Required
- • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology
- • Strong clinical skills in inpatient care and urological procedures
- • Active FL license and DEA, or ability to obtain
- • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinic-based colleagues
Preferred
- • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- • Proficiency in robotic surgery is a plus
