Critical Care Intensivist
Join a multidisciplinary critical care team in a 77-bed ICU complex with exposure to a wide range of cases across specialized units. The role includes working in a collaborative environment with opportunities to teach residents, participate in research, and contribute to hospital-wide critical care services.
Key Responsibilities
- • Practice Cutting-Edge, Multidisciplinary Critical Care
- • Join a diverse team of CCM, Pulmonology/CCM, and Surgical/CCM physicians in our 77-bed ICU complex
- • Gain exposure to a wide range of cases across our specialized units, including the Cardiovascular Surgical ICU, Medical Surgical ICU, Cardiac Care Unit, and Neurocritical Care Unit
- • Actively teach Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine residents in the Medical Surgical ICU
- • Engage in ongoing research opportunities
- • Streamlining the delivery of hospital wide critical care services
Required
- • Must be board certified/board eligible in Critical Care
- • TN License or ability to obtain
- • Broad knowledge and solid experience with all critical care patient populations including: cardiac, cardiothoracic surgery, medical, and neuro
- • Interest in Full Time, 15 shifts per month. mix of days and nights
- • Block scheduling, 12 hour shifts
- • 3 MDs and 3 APPs during the day, 1 MD and 2 APPs at night
- • Excellent communication skills with collegial teamwork focus
