My Health Onsite
The Family Practice Provider meets, assesses, and diagnoses patients in the health center and prescribes appropriate medication, health regimens, and lifestyle adjustments. The role also provides preventive, acute, and chronic care, with manageable caseloads and time to focus on each individual patient.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care for patients
- • Provide health services such as initial worker’s comp evaluation, occupational and pre-employment physicals and screenings
- • Conduct histories and physical examinations, working with patients to develop treatment plans
- • Prescribe and dispense medications, educate, and advise on medical issues as needed
- • Promote wellness educational programs
- • Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
Required
- • Graduation from an accredited medical school
- • Board Eligible or Board Certified
- • Current and unrestricted Florida medical license
- • Dispensing license (Florida) or willing to obtain one
- • DEA license
- • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
Preferred
- • Experience in primary or urgent care setting
- • Perform GYN care and well women exams
