Psychiatrist
The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients through evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and treatment planning. The role works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and includes community-based care, crisis intervention, patient and family education, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- • Conduct psychiatric evaluations (in-person and via telehealth).
- • Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care.
- • Develop individualized, integrated treatment plans with the care team.
- • Opportunities to participate in interventional psychiatry service and clinical research pipelines.
- • Supervise and collaborate with interdisciplinary providers (NPs, PAs, therapists).
- • Participate in crisis intervention and emergency care as needed.
- • Engage with community agencies and resources to support patient care.
- • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment, and wellness practices.
- • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory standards.
Required
- • Completion of Psychiatry Residency Program.
- • Current and valid California medical license, NPI, and DEA registration.
- • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, recovery principles, and community-based psychiatry.
- • Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Preferred
- • Board Certification (preferred) / Board Eligible
- • Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
- • Minimum 2 years of independent psychiatric experience (preferred).
- • Preferences for the following subspecialization/experience: Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry/Addiction Medicine, Clinical Research, or Interventional Psychiatry.
