Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician

Join a growing Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice in a well-supported clinical environment serving high-risk mothers and their families. The role combines outpatient clinic work, inpatient consults, and split call coverage, with in-house billing, coding, and collections support to reduce administrative burden.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering exceptional care to high-risk mothers and their families
  • Outpatient clinic schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Inpatient consult volume of 3–4 consults per month
  • Split call coverage: approximately 12–15 days per month, with 98% manageable by phone
Required
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board eligible or board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
  • Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
Preferred
  • Spanish-speaking skills preferred and valued given the bilingual patient population
  • Spanish-speaking ability preferred, but not required

Position Highlights

  • Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialty practice with a collegial, growing group
  • Outpatient clinic schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Daily patient census of approximately 16 patients per clinic day
  • Inpatient consult volume of 3–4 consults per month
  • Split call coverage: approximately 12–15 days per month, with 98% manageable by phone
  • On-site ultrasound and NST equipment available
  • In-house billing, coding, and collections — no administrative burden on the physician
  • Spanish-speaking skills preferred and valued given the bilingual patient population
