This role supports the launch of a new ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency program in the Kansas City Metro. It combines founding program leadership, institutional GME oversight, and clinical Emergency Medicine work, with authority over program design, curriculum philosophy, trainee experience, and program culture.
Key Responsibilities
- • Full founding authority over program design, curriculum philosophy, trainee experience, and program culture, including meaningful decision-making input into early core faculty selection.
- • Enterprise-level oversight of local GME programs, ACGME compliance, and institutional reviews, serving as a key delegate to the DIO.
- • Active participation in the GMEC and input into broader workforce and physician development strategy.
- • Works in direct partnership with the Designated Institutional Official and executive leadership.
- • Sustains clinical credibility without distracting from leadership priorities.
