Vice President - Clinical Affairs & Strategic Partnerships

This role oversees clinical, medical, and regulatory activities to ensure products and programs meet applicable standards and support safe, effective patient care. It also directs clinical strategy, evidence generation, and strategic partnerships with surgeons, health systems, academic institutions, tissue banks, and industry collaborators to expand clinical footprint and innovation pipeline.

Required
  • Strong background in Clinical Affairs and Clinical Operations, including oversight of clinical trials, evidence generation, protocol development, and clinical program management.
  • Expertise in Regulatory Affairs and Regulatory Submissions, with experience navigating relevant medical device or tissue-based regulations and interacting with regulatory bodies.
  • Experience in Medical Affairs, including KOL engagement, publication strategy, medical education, and support for clinical and commercial teams.
  • Proven leadership in developing clinical and partnership strategies that support product adoption, market access, and long-term business growth.
  • Advanced degree in a life science, clinical discipline, or related field (e.g., MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, MS); equivalent combination of education and extensive experience may be considered.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a track record of collaborating effectively with surgeons, clinical partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including building and mentoring high-performing clinical and medical teams and managing cross-functional initiatives.

Role Description The Vice President – Clinical Affairs & Strategic Partnerships is a full-time, hybrid role based in Centennial, CO, with flexibility for part-time work from home. This leader oversees clinical, medical, and regulatory activities, ensuring that all products and programs meet applicable standards and support safe, effective patient care. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing clinical strategy and operations, overseeing clinical studies and evidence generation, and guiding regulatory and medical affairs initiatives that support market access and product adoption. The role also includes building and managing strategic partnerships with surgeons, health systems, academic institutions, tissue banks, and industry collaborators to expand JRF Ortho’s clinical footprint and innovation pipeline. The Vice President collaborates closely with executive leadership, R&D, quality, and commercial teams to align clinical priorities with business goals, manage budgets and resources, and represent the organization at key scientific and industry forums.
