This role involves conducting independent medical record reviews as a board-certified Neurological Surgeon, providing advisory-only opinions and written reports based on prepared case materials. The work is fully remote, case-based, and focused on supporting claims management through objective clinical analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- • Thorough review and analysis of prepared medical records
- • Provide expert, advisory-only opinions regarding the claimant’s current condition and potential future medical needs
- • Respond to clinical questions to support claims management
- • Deliver clear, well-supported written reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days
- • No face-to-face interaction with claimants; this is a record-review–only role
Required
- • Board certification in Neurological Surgeon required
Preferred
- • Prior experience with medical record reviews, IMEs, or peer reviews preferred
- • Strong analytical skills and excellent written communication abilities

Dane Street is expanding our physician panel! We are seeking a skilled and board-certified Neurological Surgeon to join our team for Independent Medical Record Reviews. This is a fully remote opportunity offering flexible scheduling, allowing you to accept or decline cases based on your availability. Our physician panel is comprised of independent contract reviewers (1099) compensated on a per-case basis.
