This role is for an outpatient psychiatrist to join a well-established program at the Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The position involves evaluating patients for psychiatric symptoms and diagnosis, managing medications, consulting with medical teams and caregivers, and providing short-term therapy and crisis intervention in both hospital and clinic settings.

Required
- • MD/DO from an accredited institution
- • active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date)
- • satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
- • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)

Physician, Outpatient Psychiatry, Palm Beach, Florida, Full-Time
Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ an Outpatient Psychiatrist to join its well-established program at its Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The incoming provider, who will report to the Medical Director, will join a large and well-supported team of 31 interdisciplinary physicians and 20 advanced practice providers caring for patients in seven locations across Broward and Palm Beach counties.

- Responsibilities include evaluating patients for psychiatric symptoms and diagnosis, pharmacological management, consultations with medical teams and caregivers to provide insights on patients’ psychiatric conditions and potential impact on physical health and treatment plans, and providing short-term therapy and crisis intervention for patients with acute psychiatric symptoms
