Allara
This role provides virtual care for women with complex hormonal and metabolic conditions, with a focus on thorough patient assessments, personalized treatment plans, and evidence-based education. The physician works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team, maintains accurate charting, and responds to patient questions and administrative messages in a timely, compassionate manner.
Key Responsibilities
- • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans via video visits
- • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver the highest standards of care
- • Complete required trainings and uphold Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices
- • Educate patients on preventive care and wellness using evidence-based strategies
- • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and complete charting in a timely manner
- • Respond to patient questions and administrative messages with clarity and care
- • Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week, including consultations and medical guidance, with prescribing when clinically appropriate
Required
- • Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
- • Board Certification: Active national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine
- • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of consecutive clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician with a focus on women’s health conditions (see Primary Clinical Focus)
- • Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
- • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity
- • Webside Manner: A natural ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting
- • Evidence-Based Practice: A genuine commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research
- • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working across multiple platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools
- • An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is required

- • Telemedicine Experience: Prior telehealth experience is a plus

- PCOS, Hypothyroidism / Hashimoto's, Metabolic Syndrome, Menopause / Perimenopause / HRT, PMDD, Obesity / Weight Management, Diabetes, Hyperlipidemia, and Anxiety/Depression (mild to moderate)
- Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certification: Active national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine
