MD Admissions Committee
The Admissions Committee admits a diverse class of outstanding students who show great promise for becoming creative leaders in medicine and science. It has direct responsibility and final authority for determining who is admitted to Yale School of Medicine for both the MD and the Medical Scientist Training Program, and its admissions process is led by an executive committee working with three interviewing subcommittees.

The mission of the Admissions Committee is to admit a diverse class of outstanding students who show great promise for becoming creative leaders in medicine and science. With their broad range of experiences, backgrounds, knowledge, and humanity, these students commit to improving the health and well-being of all people. The committee has direct responsibility and final authority for determining who is admitted to Yale School of Medicine for both the MD and the Medical Scientist Training Program. (MD-PhD program). Our admissions process is led by an executive committee, working with three interviewing subcommittees.
