Hospitalist Physician (Nocturnist)
This role is for a nocturnist on a hospital medicine team working exclusively overnight shifts and providing exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. The position involves collaborating with a well-established local team in an academic hospital with a family medicine residency program and participating in a range of inpatient procedures and rapid response care.
Key Responsibilities

- • Hospitalists are part of our rapid response team.
- • Physicians will perform intubations, central lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and vents.
- • 10 average admissions per night, with residents.
- • 60 average floor calls.
- • EMR is Cerner.
Required
- • Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
- • Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

- We take pride in our well-established team at Canyon Vista Medical Center of 8 physicians, with the support of a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator.
- Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
- This is an academic hospital with a family medicine residency program.

- As a Nocturnist with our Hospitalist team, you will be working nights, 7 pm-7 am.
- 7 days on/7 days off schedule.
- Hospitalists are part of our rapid response team.
