Family Medicine Temple Downtown Physician
This role provides comprehensive outpatient primary care to pediatric and adult patients in a physician-led, not-for-profit healthcare system. The physician will work collaboratively with an experienced care team to deliver preventive care, chronic disease management, and treatment of common acute illnesses while supporting continuity and coordination of care.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicine care to pediatric and adult patients.
- • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.
- • Deliver preventive care services, including wellness exams, screenings, and immunizations.
- • Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to support continuity and coordination of care.
- • Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record per system standards.
- • Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
- • Comply with Baylor Scott & White Health policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
Required
- • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- • Licensed or eligible for licensure by the Texas Medical Board
- • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine (ABMS or BOS)
- • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based clinical environment
Preferred
- • Prior outpatient family medicine experience
