This role covers inpatient GI hospitalist services at one hospital with Nurse Practitioner support. It also involves work in a regional gastroenterology referral center offering therapeutic and complex interventional gastrointestinal procedures, with a flexible schedule and dedicated endoscopy suites.
Key Responsibilities
- • Cover inpatient GI Hospitalist services at one hospital with Nurse Practitioner support
- • Offering patient services in therapeutic and complex interventional gastrointestinal procedures (i.e. EUS, ERCP, capsule endoscopy, esophageal motility and clinic hemorrhoidal banding)
Required
- • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- • Eligible for California Medical License

- • Current fellows are encouraged to apply

- Regional Gastroenterology Referral Center; offering patient services in therapeutic and complex interventional gastrointestinal procedures (i.e. EUS, ERCP, capsule endoscopy, esophageal motility and clinic hemorrhoidal banding)
- 5 dedicated Endoscopy suites with state-of-the-art equipment and anesthesia support available
- Cover inpatient GI Hospitalist services at one hospital with Nurse Practitioner support
- Flexible schedule, 7-on/7-off or 14 shifts per month
- Base shift rate ($400k, based on 14 shifts per month) plus productivity
- Malpractice Insurance: covered by the medical center
- Robust sign-on bonus & relocation assistance may be available
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Current fellows are encouraged to apply
- Eligible for California Medical License
