Employed Physician
Provides quality direct patient care and assists in the coordination of department services. Patient care may include evaluating, treating, care management, referral coordination and follow-up with specialists, and health education. This role also provides training to medical staff and instructs and counsels patients.
Key Responsibilities
- • Collect, record and maintain patient information including medical history, reports and examination results.
- • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury.
- • Advise, patients, family and community members concerning treatment and prevention.
- • Examine patients or order, perform and/r interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical conditions and determine diagnoses.
- • Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
Required
- • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- • Doctorate: Graduate of an accredited medical school
- • Other: Successful completion of a medical residency program.
- • Other: Successful completion of a medical internship program.
- • 8 years recent relevant experience.

Pay Range is $2,080.00 to $1,040,000.00 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
