Experienced biomedical grant and technical writer

Freelance biomedical grant and technical writing work for medical research grants, small business grants, and pharma IME grants, with additional technical writing projects such as papers for publication, white papers, protocols, and IRB applications. The role is telecommute and requires availability for kickoff calls, update meetings, and debrief calls with clients during regular business hours.

Required
  • experienced biomedical grant and technical writer with a proven track record
  • MS or PhD-level biomedical scientist turned grant writer with above-average grant writing skills
  • Must have or be working on an MS, PhD, MD, PharmD or similar medical/biomedical degree
  • Have a minimum of 5 NIH grant proposals and/or a minimum of 10 publication samples to show
  • Highest level of US English proficiency
  • Reliable and deadline-driven
  • Mature
  • Friendly
  • Must have your own computer with Internet access and Microsoft Word
  • You MUST be available for us to schedule you to attend kickoff calls, update meetings and debrief calls with clients during regular business hours
Preferred
  • Ideally, you have experience with all or most of these: NIH R01, R21, R33, UG3, K23, SBIR, STTR, Pharma IME grants

A small medical writing company is looking for an experienced biomedical grant and technical writer with a proven track record. This is a freelance position for an MS or PhD-level biomedical scientist turned grant writer with above-average grant writing skills. The types of grant proposals we write are medical research grants, small business grants and pharma IME grants. Ideally, you have experience with all or most of these:

  • NIH R01, R21, R33, UG3, K23
  • SBIR
  • STTR
  • Pharma IME grants


We also have other technical writing projects like writing papers for publication in journals, writing white papers, protocols, IRB applications etc.


This is a telecommute contract position, where you work from home. You must have your own computer with Internet access and Microsoft Word. We communicate via email, text, phone, Google Meet and via our project management system. You MUST be available for us to schedule you to attend kickoff calls, update meetings and debrief calls with clients during regular business hours (usually just a couple hours a week)

• Must have or be working on an MS, PhD, MD, PharmD or similar medical/biomedical degree
