Neurohospitalist

Join a multi-disciplinary neuro-hospitalist team at the Department of Neurology with support from fellowship-trained vascular neurologists, neuro-intensivists, cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, and interventional endovascular specialists. The role includes educational and academic time, including teaching medical students, neurology residents, and fellows, along with a tenure-track academic appointment through Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.

Key Responsibilities

Required
  • board-certified neurologist
  • Must have completed an ACGME/AOA approved Neurology residency program

  • Vascular Neurology Fellowship Or Vascular Experience Preferred

The Department of Neurology at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is seeking a board-certified neurologist to join our multi-disciplinary neuro-hospitalist team. With eight fellowship-trained vascular neurologists, six neuro-intensivists, three cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, three interventional endovascular specialists, backed by large Departments of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Emergency Medicine and Neuroradiology, our program has over 35 years of experience in the medical, interventional, and surgical management of neurological conditions. Henry Ford is a leader in pioneering new treatments for stroke and critical care and is recognized worldwide for its laboratory, translational, and clinical research.

This subspecialty practice position offers time for educational and other academic endeavors, including a teaching role with medical students, neurology residents, and fellows.
