Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and collaborative Hospitalists to join our team at a Level I Trauma Center with strong in-house specialty support and a closed ICU model. Opportunities are available for both Day Hospitalists and Nocturnists, offering flexible schedules, manageable patient volumes, and innovative tools to enhance clinical efficiency.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Flexible block scheduling (e.g., 7 on / 7 off, 5 on / 5 off)
- Annual Shifts: 184 shifts per year, including a minimum of 2 weekends per month
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (unless on call)
- Call Schedule: Approximately 5 calls per month (Call shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM while rounding)
- Patient Census: - Starting census of 14–15 patients - Average of 1–2 admissions during daytime round-robin (until 3:00 PM)
- Support - Dedicated APP support for unit-based rounding (Monday–Friday)
- Closed ICU model and Codes run by the ICU team
- Level I Trauma Center with full in-house specialty support
- Clearly defined service line agreements with specialists
- No required procedures
- Optional non-procedural POCUS training (CME-supported)
