This role involves leading and exemplifying a high quality, collaborative, patient-oriented academic division, and providing strategic vision for the expansion, integration, and provision of behavioral neurology services at the regional level across the health network. The Medical Director will collaborate with department and system leadership to strategically plan, implement, and align clinical programs to enhance access to care while ensuring equitable service delivery and efficient resource management for financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- • Actively support the mission and initiatives of the Feinberg School of Medicine and Northwestern Memorial HealthCare by leading and exemplifying a high quality, collaborative, patient oriented, and efficient academic division.
- • Provide the leadership and strategic vision for the expansion, integration and provision of behavioral neurology services at the regional level across the health network.
- • Collaborate with department and system leadership to strategically plan, implement, and align clinical programs to enhance access to care while ensuring equitable service delivery and efficient resource management for financial sustainability.
Required
- • MD degree or MD/PhD equivalent
- • Board certified in Neurology
- • Hold/be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois

Qualified candidates will have an MD degree or MD/PhD equivalent; be board certified in Neurology and hold/be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois.
The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
The expected base pay range for this position is $275,615 - $334,811
Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
