The Medical Director provides clinical direction, direct clinical services, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site. They collaborate with the Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services and participate in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements

- • Participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested
Required
- • Medical degree (MD or DO) or General Practitioner with experience
- • Active and unrestricted Georgia medical license or the ability to obtain one required
- • Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- • Ability to pass credentialing and background check

We are excited to announce that we have now expanded our services to include medical care. Centurion is actively seeking a Site Medical Director at Ware State Prison located in Waycross, Ga.
The Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements, direct clinical services for patients, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
