Cardiology Hospitalist
This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient cardiovascular care, including managing inpatient cardiology services, performing consultations, rounding on hospitalized patients, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. The position also includes participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to physician and staff education.
Key Responsibilities
- • Managing inpatient cardiology services in collaboration with APPs
- • Performing inpatient consultations
- • Rounding on hospitalized cardiology patients
- • Coordinating care with interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, hospitalists, and other specialists
- • Caring for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
- • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and efforts to optimize patient care delivery
- • Contributing to physician and staff education
Required
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- • Echocardiography, and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) training required
- • Strong clinical expertise in the management of complex cardiac patients
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams
- • Eligible to work in the United States
- • A demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care
