Hospital Medicine Leader in Richmond, VA - 63403BR
This leadership role allows a hospitalist to remain clinically engaged while helping lead the hospital medicine program at a major regional medical center. The associate facility medical director partners with facility medical director, hospital administration, and regional leadership to support recruitment, quality, operational goals, and program management. The role includes mentoring providers and building relationships with hospital leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- • Supporting physician recruitment, onboarding and performance
- • Helping drive quality, patient care and operational goals
- • Assisting with scheduling, staffing and program management
- • Building strong relationships with hospital and medical staff leadership
- • Supporting quality improvement, compliance and clinical initiatives
- • Mentoring new providers and helping strengthen the hospitalist team
- • Continuing to practice clinically as part of the hospital medicine team
Required
- • Previous hospital medicine practice experience is required
- • No visa sponsorship available
