Provides quality clinical care to patients, may provide teaching and supervision to residents, medical students, and APPs, and handles appropriate coding and corporate compliance. May also handle general administrative responsibilities and reports directly to the Director of the assigned division, supporting the mission values and management of the organization.
Key Responsibilities

- • Appropriate coding and corporate compliance
- • Some general administrative responsibilities of the practice (may be responsible)
- • Reporting directly to the Director of their assigned division
- • Understanding and supporting the mission values and management of WPP and WakeMed
Required
- • Licensed Medical Physician
- • Board Certification in Area of Practice
- • Doctorate in Medicine
- • Fellowship/Internship/Residency in related area
- • Basic Life Support
Preferred
- • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- • Pediatric Advanced Life Support
The WakeMed Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division.
