Physician - Malignant Hematologist
This role involves providing medical care for both outpatient and inpatient services for patients with hematologic malignancies, including leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and related disorders. The physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, participate in clinical trials and research initiatives, and supervise, mentor, and teach hematology/oncology fellows, residents, and medical students. Additionally, the role includes engaging in departmental and institutional activities such as tumor boards and case conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- • Providing medical care for both outpatient and inpatient services for patients diagnosed with hematologic malignancies, including leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and related disorders
- • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team, including pathologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, transplant specialists, nurses, and advanced practice providers, to ensure coordinated patient care
- • Participation in clinical trials, research initiatives, and quality improvement projects to advance the field of malignant hematology
- • Providing inpatient and outpatient care for patients with acute and long-term complications of hematologic cancers
- • Supervising, mentoring, and teaching hematology/oncology fellows, residents, and medical students
- • Actively engaging in departmental and institutional activities such as tumor boards, case conferences, and continuing medical education programs
Required
- • BE/BC in Internal Medicine
- • BE/BC in Hematology/Medical Oncology
- • Ability to be licensed in the state of Kansas and Missouri

This position requires providing medical care for both outpatient and inpatient services for patients diagnosed with hematologic malignancies, including leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and related disorders.
The malignant hematology physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including pathologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, transplant specialists, nurses, and advanced practice providers, to ensure coordinated patient care.
