About F2G

F2G is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of novel therapies to treat life-threatening invasive fungal infections. F2G has discovered and developed a completely new class of antifungal agents called the orotomides. The orotomides have a distinct mechanism of action, selectively targeting fungal dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH), a key enzyme in the de novo pyrimidine biosynthesis pathway. This differentiates the orotomides from the currently marketed antifungal agents. Olorofim (formerly F901318) is F2G’s leading candidate from this class and has fungicidal activity against a broad range of mold infections, including a variety of rare and resistant molds that cause life-threatening infections for which current therapies have limitations or are ineffective.

F2G completed a Phase 2b open-label study of olorofim focusing on rare and resistant invasive fungal infections including invasive aspergillosis (including azole-resistant strains), coccidioidomycosis and scedosporiosis (including lomentosporiosis). A Phase 3 randomized clinical study to compare treatment with olorofim versus treatment with AmBisome® followed by standard of care (SOC) in patients with Invasive Fungal Disease Caused by Aspergillus Species has received positive topline data in June 2026. Olorofim has received orphan drug status from the European Medicines Agency and orphan drug status, Qualified Infectious Disease Product (QIDP) designation, and Breakthrough Therapy designation from FDA.

Our Vision

F2G’s vision is to bring to market safe, convenient, and effective novel antifungal agents to challenge a global unmet need for therapies that are active against resistant infections and also against pathogens which have historically been difficult to treat. Olorofim is the first novel anti-fungal treatment developed in the past 20 years and is the only antifungal medication ever to be awarded a Breakthrough Therapy Designation for multiple designations by the FDA. F2G believes that olorofim, and subsequent agents, will address some of the many challenges which face the treating physician and the patient with invasive fungal infections.

The Role

The RMAD will serve as a field-based Medical Affairs expert supporting the development and launch activities for olorofim, a novel antifungal therapy focused on invasive fungal infections. The RMAD will establish and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, pharmacists, microbiologists, hematologists, transplant specialists, and infectious diseases experts across the assigned territory. This role will support scientific exchange, insight generation, evidence dissemination, and cross-functional medical strategy execution in alignment with Medical Affairs objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific relationships with national, regional, and local KOLs, investigators, institutions, and professional societies within assigned territory
• Deliver accurate, balanced, and compliant scientific exchange regarding invasive fungal diseases, antifungal therapies, emerging clinical data, unmet medical needs, ongoing research, and evolving treatment practices
• Build and strengthen F2G’s scientific presence and credibility among current and emerging thought leaders, investigators, and educational influencers
• Support execution of regional medical plans and contribute to launch readiness activities through scientific engagement, stakeholder mapping, and insight gathering
• Identify, analyze, and communicate actionable field insights, treatment trends, and unmet needs to inform Medical Affairs strategies and cross-functional decision-making
• Facilitate scientific discussions related to antifungal resistance, diagnostics, therapeutic challenges, and management of immunocompromised patients across diverse clinical settings
• Support medical congress activities, including scientific symposia, medical information booth coverage, conference reporting, and dissemination of key scientific insights
• Support Investigator-Sponsored Research and collaborative scientific initiatives through identification of research opportunities, potential study sites, and investigator partnerships
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner, ensuring high-quality scientific support for healthcare professionals
• Collaborate effectively with Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Market Access, Commercial, and other cross-functional colleagues while maintaining appropriate compliance standards and scientific integrity

What You Bring to The Table

• Advanced clinical degree required (PharmD, MD, DO, DNP, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience, including prior Field Medical experience preferred
• Expertise in infectious diseases or hematology/oncology required
• Preferred experience in medical mycology, transplant infectious diseases, hematology/oncology infectious diseases, or antifungal therapeutics
• Strong understanding of clinical research, scientific literature evaluation, and medical communication principles

Additional Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Experience supporting pre-launch or launch-stage products preferred
• Demonstrated ability to build credible peer-to-peer scientific relationships with external experts
• Excellent presentation, communication, and scientific storytelling skills
• Ability to travel within assigned territory (approximately 50-60%)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel as required
