Endocrinologist - Outpatient Only
This role involves a comprehensive outpatient endocrinology practice specializing in diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and menopause management. The physician will diagnose and manage endocrine disorders, provide consultative support to the inpatient team, and utilize advanced diabetes technologies. Opportunities exist for participation in thyroid services, research, and program development.
Key Responsibilities
- • Diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in the outpatient setting
- • Providing consultative support and guidance to the inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team
- • Caring for patients with diabetes utilizing advanced technologies, including insulin pumps and CGM devices
- • Participating in the development and expansion of advanced thyroid services, including office-based ultrasound and biopsy procedures
- • Collaborating with a dedicated infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment
- • Supporting osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives
- • Contributing to future clinical research opportunities and program development
Required
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- • Completion of an Endocrinology Fellowship
- • Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
- • Fellowship graduates encouraged to apply
