Chief Medical Officer - Atrium Health Cabarrus

The Chief Medical Officer will engage and integrate with the Executive Team and Medical Staff to champion and advance system strategies in Quality, Patient Experience, Transformation Operations, and Integrated System of Care. The role is accountable for quality and patient safety goals, experience goals including patient, teammate and physician engagement, and physician relations, development, peer review and mentoring. Additionally, the role involves engaging in system initiatives outside the facility as requested.

Required
  • MD or DO required
  • Board Certification in Specialty
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice
  • Eligible to be licensed in NC
  • Progressive experience as physician leader or physician executive
Preferred
  • MBA or MHA or other advanced management degree is highly preferred

Education:

  • MD or DO required
