This role involves performing a broad range of image-guided minimally invasive procedures, evaluating patients for appropriate interventional treatment, and providing pre- and post-procedure management. The physician will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in departmental quality improvement and call coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- • Perform a broad range of image-guided minimally invasive procedures.
- • Evaluate patients in consultation and determine appropriate interventional treatment.
- • Perform vascular and nonvascular interventions, including biopsies, drainages, vascular access, embolization procedures, and other procedures appropriate to the physician's expertise.
- • Participate in inpatient and outpatient interventional radiology services.
- • Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
- • Provide pre- and post-procedure patient management.
- • Participate in departmental quality improvement, education, and peer-review activities.
- • Participate in call coverage as assigned.
Required
- • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- • Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.
- • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology or equivalent qualifications.
- • Board certification or board eligibility in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology.
- • Texas Medical License or Faculty Temporary License.
- • Strong clinical, procedural, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- • Experience with a broad range of vascular and nonvascular interventions.
- • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
