THORACIC SURGERY OPPORTUNITY
Seeking BC/BE Thoracic Surgeons to join our team!
- Base Salary: $650,000 with productivity incentives
- Sign-On Bonus, Relocation Assistance, CME Allowance, Retirement Benefits & Malpractice Coverage
- This is an employed opportunity with Baptist Medical Group (a multidisciplinary medical group with over 1,500 employed physicians)
- Established thoracic surgery practice with strong referral relationships, advanced robotic capabilities, and close integration with Baptist Cancer Center
- Primary facility: BMH - Memphis (700 bed tertiary referral center for our 26-hospital system)
- Advanced robotic surgery program with access to:
- Two da Vinci Xi robotic systems in Memphis
- One da Vinci Xi robotic system in DeSoto
- Approximately 90% of cases performed robotically
- No required ED call
- Flexible practice schedule featuring 3-4 OR days per week, multidisciplinary clinic participation, and dedicated outpatient clinic time
- Established referral base with continued opportunity for growth across the Mid-South region
- Dedicated support team including experienced APPs, first assistants, and specialized surgical staff
- Work closely with the Baptist Cancer Center and participate in multidisciplinary care alongside medical oncology colleagues
- Baptist has a general surgery residency which offers opportunities to teach
- Great collaborative and collegial physicians and administrative team
- As a not-for-profit system, BMHCC qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
