Psychiatry Residency Associate Program Director
This role helps lead an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program. The position combines administrative and clinical responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- • Help lead our ACGME residency program in Salem, VA
- • 50% administrative, 50% clinical workload
Schedule
- • Full-time position with protected non-clinical administrative time of 20 hours per week
- • 50% administrative, 50% clinical workload
Required
- • Board certified by the ABPN or AOBNP
- • Minimum of three years post-residency participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program
- • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong team building skills
Preferred
- • Prior APD experience is a plus
- • Candidates with recent scholarly activity such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educations organizations are highly encouraged to apply
