Our client is seeking to hire a board-certified MD or DO who has completed a Neurology residency in the United States to join our team as principal investigator in clinical research at an independent research location in Long Beach, California. The primary area of research will be Alzheimer's Disease prevention and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- • Lead study team as a Principal Investigator, ensuring trials are conducted safely and per protocol
- • Conduct clinical intake interviews to determine medical eligibility of potential study participants
- • Educate potential participants about diseases and the benefits of clinical trial participation
- • Manage the safety of study participants; respond appropriately to adverse events in a timely manner
- • Attend investigational meetings for clinical trials and scientific conferences
- • Provide medical leadership to our team of clinicians and study coordinators
- • Maintain all required licenses
Required
- • Board-certified in Neurology
- • Valid license to practice medicine in California (or license-eligible)
- • Experience working with older adults in a clinical or research setting
- • A command of professional spoken and written English
Preferred
- • Prior clinical research experience is preferred for this role

Job Overview: Our client is seeking to hire a board-certified MD or DO who has completed a Neurology residency in the United States to join our team as principal investigator (“PI”) in clinical research at an independent research location in Long Beach, California. The primary area of research will be Alzheimer's Disease prevention and treatment, though other studies may include MDD (major depressive disorder), and GLP-1/GIP/glucagon agonists and receptors. Prior research experience is a plus for this role, but not required.
This is a full-time, in-person role. There are no planned overnight or weekend hours.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The salary range for this position is $300,000 - $350,000 per year.
