A growing biotech organization is seeking an experienced Senior MSL to join its U.S. Medical Affairs team. This field-based role focuses on engaging with healthcare leaders and driving scientific dialogue to support a high-impact product in the cardiovascular space. Ideal candidates will bring deep therapeutic area expertise and a track record of success in field medical affairs roles.


Key Responsibilities


  • Cultivate and manage scientific relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals across the assigned territory
  • Act as the primary field-based scientific resource, responding to medical inquiries and delivering high-quality clinical insights
  • Represent the organization at scientific and medical events such as congresses, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and symposia
  • Partner cross-functionally to support launch initiatives, strategic planning, and internal training programs
  • Present clinical and health outcomes data to HCPs, ensuring the information is delivered in a clear, relevant, and impactful way
  • Identify and support opportunities for investigator-sponsored research and contribute to clinical trial site engagement as needed
  • Monitor therapeutic trends and competitor activity; communicate field insights to internal teams to inform strategic decisions
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal, and ethical standards



Qualifications


  • PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of MSL experience in cardiology
  • Launch and/or prelaunch experience highly desired
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific data into practical insights
  • Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
