Join a leading AI lab’s cutting-edge GenAI team and help build foundational AI models from the ground up. We are seeking Distinguished Medical Experts across a range of advanced medical specialties to bring deep domain expertise and elevate the quality of AI training data. This is a W2 employment opportunity with a long-term contract, flexible 10–40 hours per week, working directly with frontier AI research teams.

You’ll join a team of medicine leaders to and together, you’ll guide the next generation of medical AI toward real-world safety, precision, and impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model reasoning in your domain.

  • Develop annotation standards, evaluation frameworks, and high-rigor rubrics for clinical reasoning.

  • Design challenging, domain-relevant tasks and write gold-standard solutions.

  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs, providing structured feedback to ensure medical accuracy.

  • Collaborate with peers across disciplines to maintain consistency and depth in training data.

Qualifications

  • Location: Based in the US

  • Education: MD or DO from a reputable institution

  • Experience: 5+ years of post-training clinical practice in one of the listed frontier specialties (top-tier institution preferred)
