The College of Medicine-Phoenix seeks experienced investigators with MD, MD/PhD, or PhD degrees to conduct research using state-of-the-art approaches in neuroscience, cardiovascular and pulmonary sciences, cancer, immunology, and metabolism. Successful applicants will build interdisciplinary teams to translate research into clinical application, maintain strong peer-reviewed publication records, submit research grant proposals, and participate in educational and service missions of the College.

The College of Medicine-Phoenix seeks experienced, accomplished and innovative independent investigators with MD, MD/PhD or PhD degrees whose research interests involve state-of-the-art approaches and technologies to address topics in the fields relating to neuroscience, cardiovascular and pulmonary sciences, cancer, immunology and metabolism. Successful applicants will be expected to build comprehensive, multi-investigator, interdisciplinary teams oriented toward translating research findings into clinical application. A strong track record of publishing peer-reviewed, high impact articles in PubMed-indexed journals is required. Successful applicants will be required to submit intramural and extramural research grant proposals in the area of their research expertise, as well as collaborative program grants. Finally, successful applicants will be expected to participate in the educational, training and service missions of the home department and College.
Successful candidates will fulfill the responsibilities of faculty members in an appropriate department, actively participate in teaching, clinical service and/or scholarly work, and must qualify for an appointment at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor.
Successful candidates will meet the requirements of either career track or tenure track faculty according to the College and University guidelines.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety ReportIn compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
