The Road to Recovery Program is recruiting practitioners to provide weekend coverage for the Wellmobile’s low threshold buprenorphine program. Services will be provided virtually, including assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing buprenorphine and other medications as indicated.

Required
- • Master’s degree in nursing or a MD/DO from an accredited college or university
- • Experience with addiction treatment and buprenorphine
- • Medical or Certified Nurse Practitioner License to practice in Maryland
Preferred
- • A commitment to responsive and empathetic patient care
- • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- • Knowledge of Anne Arundel County resources

Job Description
Nature of Work:
The Road to Recovery Program is recruiting for a practitioner(s) to provide weekend coverage for the Wellmobile’s low threshold buprenorphine program. Practitioners will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing patients seeking buprenorphine services and responsible for prescribing buprenorphine, and other medications as indicated. Services would be provided virtually.
Education
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in nursing or a MD/DO from an accredited college or university.
Experience
Experience with addiction treatment and buprenorphine
License Or Certification
Medical or Certified Nurse Practitioner License to practice in Maryland
Desired Or Preferred Qualifications
A commitment to responsive and empathetic patient care, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and knowledge of Anne Arundel County resources.
