The ophthalmologist will guide triage of acute symptoms and interpret ophthalmic testing remotely, while collaborating with commercial teams and medical directors on medical strategy and affairs.
Key Responsibilities
- • Implementing the medical strategy in line with brand strategy by collaborating with commercial teams to identify medical priorities and formulate and implement a medical plan.
- • Working closely with Medical Directors on medical affairs related matters.
- • Providing medical advice for new product development and commercial activities.
- • Ensuring compliance with regulations and preparing documents and submissions for clearance or approval from regulatory authorities.
Required
- • BC/BE in Ophthalmology
- • Active California medical license
- • Experience consulting on chronic and urgent ocular issues
- • Clear communication with patients and primary care providers
- • Must have a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace
- • Competent in remote patient education and care planning

Compensation: $75/Encounter
Position: Stallant Health is accepting applications for a Remote Ophthalmologist to consult on eye care needs for rural patients. While in-person exams are often necessary, your expertise will guide management of chronic conditions (e.g., glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration), triage acute symptoms, and interpret ophthalmic testing where available.
You Will Be Responsible For
