Next Gen Neuro
This role involves remote interpretation of continuous EEG (cEEG) studies for patients across the United States, requiring flexibility to work on-call shifts and manage a high volume of simultaneous EEG recordings. Physicians collaborate with schedulers to set their own monthly work schedule and must be prepared to obtain multiple state licenses and complete credentialing with support from the team.
Key Responsibilities
- • Interpret continuous EEG (cEEG) studies for patients of all age ranges including adult, pediatric, and neonatal.
- • Work on-call rotation typically from Monday 8am ET to Monday 7:59am ET.
- • Provide at least 7 days per month of on-call coverage, covering the full 24 hours each day.
- • Work effectively in a team setting.
- • Complete multiple state licenses and credentialing at multiple facilities with assistance from the NGN team.
- • Learn to work in multiple types of EMRs and EEG systems.
- • Read a high volume of simultaneous cEEG recordings (12+).
Required
- • Must reside and read EEGs within the USA.
- • Must be comfortable reading both adult and pediatric/neonatal EEGs.
- • Required to be available for at least 7 days per month for on-call coverage (covering the full 24hrs each day).
- • Must have reliable cell phone and internet coverage.
- • Must be willing to learn to work in multiple types of EMRs and EEG systems.
- • Must be comfortable reading a high volume of simultaneous cEEG recordings (12+).
- • Must be participating in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
- • Must have completed a fellowship in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology.
- • Must be willing to commit time needed to complete multiple state licenses and credentialing at multiple facilities with assistance from NGN team.
- • Must have and maintain at least one of the following credentials: ABPN with special qualification in Clinical Neurophysiology; ABPN with special qualification in Epilepsy; ABCN.

The Company: Next Gen Neuro is a certified women and veteran-owned remote cEEG service provider company serving patients and hospitals across the United States. We strive to provide quality brainwave care to patients everywhere.
The Position: We are seeking to contract with two Remote Interpreting Neurologists/Epileptologists who are driven to grow alongside a dynamic new team. As this opportunity is structured as an independent contractor role, physicians receive compensation per patient per study (or per daily cEEG reading day), in addition to a daily on-call rate. There is no guaranteed salary; instead, physicians work with our schedulers to determine their monthly work schedule according to their own availability.
Eligible candidates must be active participants in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC), and be ready to invest the time required to obtain multiple state licenses and complete credentialing at a range of facilities, with full support from the NGN team. State licensure is required for Indiana, Oregon, Washington, Nebraska, Kentucky, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania.
