Clinical Assistant Professor - Hematopathologist

Provide professional pathology services including reviewing and signing out hematopathology cases such as bone marrow, special hematology, and special chemistry. Serve as a Laboratory Director and/or consultant to outside laboratories, consult with University Hospital staff physicians, teach residents and students, and develop research initiatives.

Job Summary: Provide professional pathology services which includes:

  • Hematopathologist in the Division of Clinical Pathology. Review and sign-out hematopathology cases: bone marrow, special hematology, and special chemistry.
  • Serve as a Laboratory Director and/or consultant to outside laboratories.
  • Consult with University Hospital staff physicians.
  • Teach residents/students as assigned.
  • Develop research initiatives. Minimum Qualifications:
  • MD or DO license for NYS.
  • Board certified or eligible in Hematopathology.
  • Board certified in CP or AP/CP
  • Clean malpractice
  • Insurance credentialed
