Upstate Medical University
Provide professional pathology services including reviewing and signing out hematopathology cases such as bone marrow, special hematology, and special chemistry. Serve as a Laboratory Director and/or consultant to outside laboratories, consult with University Hospital staff physicians, teach residents and students, and develop research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- • Review and sign-out hematopathology cases: bone marrow, special hematology, and special chemistry.
- • Serve as a Laboratory Director and/or consultant to outside laboratories.
- • Consult with University Hospital staff physicians.
- • Teach residents/students as assigned.
- • Develop research initiatives.
Required
- • MD or DO license for NYS.
- • Board certified or eligible in Hematopathology.
- • Board certified in CP or AP/CP.
- • Clean malpractice.
- • Insurance credentialed.
- Hematopathologist in the Division of Clinical Pathology. Review and sign-out hematopathology cases: bone marrow, special hematology, and special chemistry.
- Serve as a Laboratory Director and/or consultant to outside laboratories.
- Consult with University Hospital staff physicians.
- Teach residents/students as assigned.
- Develop research initiatives. Minimum Qualifications:
- MD or DO license for NYS.
- Board certified or eligible in Hematopathology.
- Board certified in CP or AP/CP
- Clean malpractice
- Insurance credentialed
Work Days:
M-F on-call/recall as assigned
