The role involves practicing comprehensive ophthalmology with autonomy and collaboration within a robust network. The physician will perform cataract surgeries, support multiple clinic locations, and engage in a physician-led care model focused on individualized, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- • Support clinics in Downer’s Grove and Hinsdale with possible satellite coverage in Bloomingdale
- • Perform approximately 500 cataract surgery cases per year with potential growth
- • Provide patient care Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with no Saturdays
- • Perform cases at Edward Hospital, Duly Ambulatory Surgery Center in Lombard, and Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center in St. Charles
- • Participate in call 8-9 times per year for one week at a time (Monday-Monday)
- • Collaborate within a physician-led care model emphasizing physician-directed medicine and patient-centered care
- • Engage with a strong internal referral network and collaborative provider partners across ophthalmology and other specialties

Opportunity Highlights
- Current practice includes 9 ophthalmologists, 4 optometrists, certified ophthalmic technicians and a full support staff
- Support our clinics in Downer’s Grove and Hinsdale. Possible satellite coverage may extend to Bloomingdale.
- Expect 500 cataract surgery cases/year to start with potential growth!
- Exceptional facility amenities with high end technology and devices to support a thriving practice from day one
- Monday through Friday office hours, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. No Saturdays.
- Cases performed at Edward Hospital, Duly Ambulatory Surgery Center in Lombard, and Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center in St. Charles.
- Call is 8-9 times/year for one week at a time (Monday-Monday).
- Extensive mentorship exists for new graduates
- Strong internal referral network and collaborative provider partners across ophthalmology and more than 1,000 Duly providers
- Competitive total rewards salary between $350,000 - $500,000, which includes the opportunity for financial bonuses or stipends, CME funds, and shareholder track for equity eligibility

- The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $340,000 - $350,000, depending upon the applicant’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the base compensation, this position may also be eligible for a productivity bonus, sign-on bonus, loan repayment assistance, catalyst training stipend, and relocation bonus equaling a total target cash compensation that may be between $350,000 - $500,000.
