Relief Mental Health
This role involves evaluating patients referred for psychiatric assessment, developing individualized treatment plans, and overseeing care for advanced therapies such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Esketamine/Ketamine treatments. The psychiatrist will collaborate with clinicians and staff to provide comprehensive care and support patients in pursuing healthier lives.
Key Responsibilities
- • Evaluate individuals who are referred for psychiatric assessment
- • Evaluate and oversee patient care for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
- • Evaluate patients for Esketamine and Ketamine
- • Diagnose individuals based on psychiatric evaluation, develop treatment plans, and provide support when appropriate
- • Provide crisis intervention and assessment
- • Collaborate with on-site staff to communicate with medical providers outside the organization
- • Compile documentation in accordance with organization’s policies and procedures
- • Collaborate with staff clinicians to provide a comprehensive plan of care for Relief patients
Required
- • Doctor of medicine (MD) or doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an approved psychiatric residency.
- • License to practice medicine in the state of Wisconsin
- • Active DEA license
- • Extensive knowledge and familiarity with DSM criteria
- • In depth knowledge of psychotherapeutic methods
- • Board certified or Board eligible in psychiatry
- • Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills
Preferred
- • Flexibility to cover multiple work sites and provide aid in crisis situations
- • Working knowledge of TMS and/or experience in TMS
- • Interest in new innovation in psychiatry
