Physician - Cardiothoracic Surgeon
The Cardiothoracic Surgeon will perform a high volume of cardiac and thoracic surgeries, including specialized pulmonary procedures with an emphasis on robotic surgery. The role involves working with a Lung Nodule Program, contributing to research, and supporting the ongoing TAVR Program.

We are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team at CHRISTUS St. Michael Health Systemin Texarkana, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a thriving, collaborative environment with a seasoned cardiology group with full-range scope of practice and commitment to serving the community.
The current practice is busy, performing 200-300 cardiac cases annually and150 thoracic cases, including specialized pulmonary procedures related to lung cancer, with an emphasis on robotic surgery. You will have the chance to work with our Lung Nodule Program and contribute to research, having been involved in three major research studies to date. Additionally, our TAVR Program has been running successfully for the past three years.
