The role involves expertise in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with responsibilities including medical and surgical treatment of cosmetic and reconstructive facial cases. The successful candidate will also co-direct the facial plastics fellowship program and engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Key Responsibilities
- • Teaching responsibilities may include medical student, resident and fellow education as well as formal lecture opportunities.
- • Serve as Co-Director of the facial plastics fellowship program.
- • Medical and surgical treatment of cosmetic and reconstructive cases for the face including Rhinoplasty, Facelift, Neck Lift, Brow Lift, Blepharoplasty, Otoplasty and facial reconstruction post MOHS.
- • Development of programs in facial nerve reanimation and gender affirming surgery are strongly encouraged.
- • Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, program development, quality improvement initiatives and innovation in delivery of care is required.
Required
- • Must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- • Must be fellowship trained in the field of facial plastic/reconstructive surgery.
- • Board certified or board eligible.
